Prerna Malhan began her career as a content writer in 2014 at Weblink India.Net Pvt. Ltd in New Delhi. She left after ten months. In April 2014, she joined JMC Cyber Flavors ITES Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi as a Senior Content Developer, where she worked for nearly four years until March 2018. In May 2016, she also became an editor for a wedding blog site called Indian Wedding Site, where she worked for over three years until January 2020. Later, she decided to leave her corporate job to pursue full-time travel blogging.
In 2016, she launched a YouTube channel called “Wanderers Hub,” where she shares various types of videos like travel guides, challenges, comparisons, pranks, and more. Her first video was a “Bhutan Travel Guide.” By 2022, her channel has amassed over 2 billion views and has 7.66 million subscribers. Additionally, she manages two more YouTube channels: “Wanderers Hub Shorts,” dedicated to short videos, and “Wanderers Live,” where she posts reaction and game-streaming videos. She has received the ‘Gold Creator Award’ and ‘Silver Creator Award’ for her YouTube channels ‘Wanderers Hub’ and ‘Wanderers Live.’
In 2021, Prerna Malhan starred alongside her husband Harsh Gupta in the Hindi music video “Tera Ishq,” performed by the renowned singer Gajendra Verma. The following year, she appeared in the music video for the Punjabi song “Kala Dhaga,” sung by Renuka Panwar.
